At Seek First, we believe your privacy is paramount. Our mobile app is built with this in mind.
Seek First is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect any of your personal information. We do not collect or transmit your Screen Time data or app usage details off of your phone. All study tracking calculations run locally on your device.
Data We Collect
We do not collect any user data. Subscription information is collected through an anonymous identifier, not your name or email address.
Subscription Information
Seek First requires a subscription. We collect:
- Subscription status and entitlement information via RevenueCat (via an anonymous identifier)
- Purchase history (managed by Apple)
Data We Do NOT Collect
We want to be crystal clear about what we don't collect:
- Personal information: We do not collect any of your personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information.
- Screen Time data: We do not collect or transmit any Screen Time or app usage details to our servers. All blocking and monitoring happens locally on your device using Apple's Screen Time API.
- App content: We do not access the content of Gospel Library or any other apps on your device.
- Browsing history: We do not track your web browsing or app activity.
- Location data: We do not collect your location.
- Contacts or photos: We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal files.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Third-Party Services
Seek First integrates with the following third-party services:
Apple
We use Apple services for in-app purchases (StoreKit), and app blocking functionality (Screen Time API). Apple's privacy policy applies to their services: apple.com/legal/privacy
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat receives your Apple subscription information (via an anonymous identifier). RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy

Data Storage and Security
Important: Personal information, Screen Time and app usage data never leaves your device. All blocking logic runs locally on your own device.
Your Rights and Choices
Manage Permissions
- Revoke Screen Time permission: Go to iPhone Settings → Seek First → toggle Screen Time permission off
- Manage subscription: Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions)
- Delete your account: Deleting the app from your device will delete all of your data.
